Make CourtsOS look like your club

Pick two colours and a tone and CourtsOS builds the whole palette for you. If you want more control, eighteen individual colours are yours to set. This page shows every one of them — and exactly which part of the screen each one paints.

The quick way — two colours and a tone

Everything lives in one place: Club → Theme colours.

Set a club colour, a button colour and a light or dark tone, then tap Apply club colours. CourtsOS works out the rest — cards, pills, borders, headers and text — so the whole app hangs together instead of looking like three colours fighting. The change reaches every screen, display and court iPad straight away.

TipThe writing inside your buttons is chosen for you — CourtsOS picks dark or light ink depending on how bright your button colour is, so you can never end up with white text on a pale yellow button.

NoteThe CourtsOS splash and login screens keep CourtsOS branding on purpose. Everything your players and staff actually use is yours.

Fine-tuning each colour

Open Advanced colour overrides to set any of these by hand. An override sticks — until you press Apply club colours again, which rebuilds the palette from your two simple colours and replaces it.

TipTwo of these are easy to mix up. Active pill is the block of colour behind the tab you're on; Tab highlight is its underline and label. Set them to the same colour and the tab reads as one solid block.

What each colour paints

Each shot below is the app with that one colour swapped for bright magenta, so you can see exactly what it is responsible for.

Magenta shows the areas that colour controls.

Two colours you don't set

These follow on from your background and text colours, so there is no swatch for them.

CourtsOS with Tab strip turned magenta — **Tab strip** — The strip of tabs under the header. CourtsOS lifts it off your background automatically.

CourtsOS with Faded text turned magenta — **Faded text** — Secondary writing: score boxes before a score is entered, hints and small labels. Half the strength of your Text colour.

Where your colours appear

One set of colours, synced to every screen. Change them on the Club tab and the wall display, the court iPads and the players' phones all follow within seconds — even mid-event.

Colours outside the theme

Three more things carry colour, and none of them move when you change your palette.

Visiting club colour — set on the Interclub settings. It tells the two clubs apart on the board and is meant to be the visitors' colour, not yours.
Court gems — the twelve ranked-format court icons are fixed artwork, so a court keeps the same gem whatever your palette is.
Match Play sponsor crest — a web link to an image, not a colour. It sits in the scoreboard's top bar between your club name and LIVE.

NoteThe stand-alone sign-in sheet keeps its own styling for the signed-in pills — those two colours apply to the Arrivals tab inside the organiser app.
